Dream, Work, Love

 Hello All! 

             Since this is my very first blog, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Adelaide Hugh, but that does not really matter because it is just a name. It is not who I am. Who I am is determined by Jesus Christ. He loves me and has bought me back from the darkness. So I am priceless. I am no one important or even anywhere close to important. I am just a ordinary person with extraordinary dreams!

              No matter who you are or how dark your situation may be, God is still there. He may be working in a way that you can see, but it is more often a way you cannot see. I know that seems to be the case with my life. The storm has to end before I can see the way God brought me out of it. And at the end of it, I'm thankful that I trusted Him. His ways are higher after all! But that's hard to see during the storm. I must admit that I often complain, but God's grace is greater than all of my weaknesses. 

               Living in today's society is especially hard. Everyone is so easily offended and it is easy to be become depressed by the news on TV. But God has called us to so much more! A hard life can be a good life too. It all depends on our perspective and how hard we are willing to fight to keep a good attitude. I know. It is hard! I fight this daily struggle too, but we can't afford to lose hope. There are too many hearts out there who do not know Jesus. You may be the only light one of those hearts sees today! 

               The whole world may be against you and that might even include your friends and family, but God has your back. He will take of you! Soon life on this earth will be over, and you will be in Heaven with Jesus. All the cares, woes, and sorrows will be forgotten then. It will be like life on earth never existed. It is not something to be afraid of! Rather, it is something to look forward too. I know it comforts me to think about the place God has prepared for me. Especially on those days when I feel like I cannot take the pressures of life anymore.

                 Well, that is all I had on my heart for today. It is nice to be able to lay down my load at the feet of Jesus. Just think, you can do the same! He loves you just as much as He loves me. And He thinks I am worth His life! He paid a King's ransom so that I could spend eternity with Him, and He did the same for you. Whatever you do today, don't forget that.
