In Ways You Cannot See

    To be completely honest, I don't understand God. He works in some of the weirdest ways, but His plans always work. He always knows best. And I can't usually see that until much later. He's used my worst experiences to bring about some of the greatest things in my life. No matter what other people intend for bad, God turns it into good. I don't know how He does it, and I wouldn't understand it anyway. But I trust God anyway. He's faithful.

  Even when things don't go my way, I know God is working for my good. It's just what He does. It is hard to trust Him. It even feels impossible at times. But sometimes there is a difference between feelings and reality. The best lives do not come by the easy roads. That's just the way life works. Besides, there will be a day when this war is over and we will no longer have to worry. We can be sure of that because the victory has already been won. It was won the day Jesus died on the cross.
 
  No matter how my story on Earth ends, I will live forever in Heaven. There is no fairytale comparison to that. No human mind can fathom what God has in store for those who fight when life is hardest. Whatever you do, you can't give up. You just can't. There is so much more waiting for you on the other side of this mountain. You may be stuck in the valley right now. I am too. And the mountain is still ahead of me. It feels like I am never going to get to where I want to be. But God is working in my life. Right now. Just in a way I cannot see.
