A Battle Each and Every Day
I fight myself every day. It is a battle to raise my head from the pillow, to motivate myself to leave my room, but the hardest battle of all is to prepare myself for social interaction. I've never actually met anyone else who feels like this. But I can't be the only one who fights this battle each and every day. I know, it sounds ridiculous. And it's not really something you can understand unless you've gone through it yourself. But if you are going through it, know that God had not left you. He is still by your side, holding you up. He will never leave you. He is there even when you cannot feel His presence.
Life is not perfect because we live in a sin-filled world. But that does not mean God has abandoned you. In some cases, He will take all of your pain away, but in other cases He wants to use it. He wants to use it to strengthen your relationship with Him. He wants to use your heartache to draw you closer to Him. He wants to use your despair to show others that hope is left. He wants to use you. Will you let Him? Will you let Him shape and mold you into a vessel for His glory? Yeah, it's a painful process. But it's also a meaningful one. You'll have to forget about yourself, but you will gain so much more. You will gain treasure in Heaven. And you will gain a life with a purpose. So will you fight the battle of life each and every day so that God can use you for greater things? Or will you let your pain and experience be wasted?
